The Northeast region is comprised of the Marcellus and Utica shale areas in Ohio, Pennsylvania and west Virginia. Nuverra has a long and proud tradition serving oil and gas customers in this region and operates under the Heckmann Water resources brand.
We understand the geography, geology and topography of the area well to manage customer logistics efficiently and economically. We also understand that operating safely and in compliance with environmentla standards is our obligation to our employees, our customers and the communities in which we work.

Locations
We serve the Marcellus/Utica region with operations centers and service yards in Masontown, West Virginia; Somerset and Tioga, Pennsylvania; Norwich, Cadiz and St. Clairsville, Ohio to ensure efficiency in logistics and so our customers are not incurring additional expense to move equipment and personnel to their well sites.
Water Solutions and Services
Nuverra is the largest water management company in the region. We offer a full range of services for all of our customers’ water and waste management needs including:

Fresh, drilling, flowback and produced water transportation with more than 200 trucks in the Marcellus/Utica region

Salt water disposal wells with more than 10,000 bpd of disposal capacity in our nine permitted UIC disposal wells strategically located in Trumball, Portage, Guernsey and Washington counties.

We are a supplier of oil and gas rental equipment in the region, including trucks, trailers and tanks – all designed and configured to work best for the needs of the Marcellus/Utica.
